How to get there
Direction to the Departure Site
From Montreal or Toronto
≈ Off Highway 417 East or West, take the Nicholas exit. Follow the signs to Hull, via the Macdonald-Cartier Bridge.
≈ Take Highway 5 towards Maniwaki.
≈ After approximately 20 minutes, Highway 5 ends. Turn left at the lights, and you are now on Road 105 North.
≈ After 6 kilometers, turn right at the Wakefield exit ramp.
≈ Turn left at the bottom of the hill on Riverside Road.
≈ Follow the signs for the Great Gatineau River Festival.
Please note that parking at Peace Park (Parc de la Paix) in Wakefield is available only for the unloading of your boat. The permanent parking is located at the Vorlage Ski Centre, 65 Burnside Road, La Pêche, QC, J0X 3J0.
Direction to the Festival's Official Site (Arrival Site - Chelsea dam in Cantley)
From Montreal or Toronto
≈ Off Highway 417 East or West, take the Nicolas exit. Follow the signs to Hull, via the Macdonald-Cartier Bridge.
≈ Take Highway 5 towards Maniwaki.
≈ Take Highway 50 East.
≈ Take exit 138 towards QC-307/ Saint-Louis St
≈ Turn right on QC-307/ Saint-Louis St (Boul Archambault North Panel).
≈ Continue to follow Saint-Louis St
≈ Turn left on Vieux Chemin St.
≈ Follow the signs for the Great Gatineau River Festival
Please note that parking at the Arrival Site is available only on the following streets: Vieux Chemin and Du Rocher Streets.
