Experience as a participant or as a spectator the “Classique des Collines” .

Professional Race

This spectacular 30km race on calm waters will be held on the Gatineau River between Wakefield (La Pêche) and Cantley.

Rain or shine, the racers will give you quite a show!

A simulated portage on the Festival’s arrival site at the Chelsea dam in Cantley will also put you in the middle of the action.

The C2 canoe competition is used for different classes approved by the “Association des Coureurs en Canot du Québec (ACCQ)”.  The Festival offers a purse of $2,000 and the Normand-Mainguy Cup will be given to the winning team of the C2 senior class competition canoe.

Amateur Race

This amateur race of 20km is to develop “La Relève".

The whaling canoe (modified and recreational) will give you the satisfaction of completing a physical and challenging event.

With all the different classes approved by the “Association des Coureurs en Canot du Québec (ACCQ)” you will find a class appropriate for your age and category. The Guy-Rouleau Cup (Festival's founder) will be given to the winning team of the whaling canoe race. A purse of $1, 000 will be distributed among the various age categories.

So, if you want to try to physically exceed your limits, climb aboard.

More than 700 spectators are expected for an exciting start.
